- Local news and traffic updates: Before going for the outing, if you want to know the traffic update in your locality, then the app allows you to check traffic in your area. If you want to avoid being stuck in a traffic, then this app is best for you. In the same way, to get up to date with the local news, you can hear the news via speakers engrossed in amazon echo. All major news channels like BBC, Discovery, and NPR are available in the app.
- Sports-related updates: To get updates related to toss, matches or schedule of your favorite team, you need to stay tuned with this feature available on Amazon echo now. Just select your team and sports, then stay updated for the same on Echo device.
- Weather forecast: If you want to go for a movie or to a restaurant for some sort of entertainment but don’t know the possibility of rain, then there is no need to worry now. Just check weather forecast online through the app.
To enable weather forecast feature, go to ‘Settings’ and update your location from there. The Alexa will then fetch local weather forecast details and display to you on your smartphone or tablet.
